Calcium is known to be a support for our bones but has many other health benefits, these are the most important:

  • BALANCED MOODS
  • MINIMAL PMS OR MENOPAUSAL SYMPTOMS
  • BENEFITS OF DIGESTION
  • DEEP SLEEP AND ABILITY TO RELAX
  • SKIN THAT HEALS QUICKLY AND EASILY WITH MINIMAL SCARING
  • MINIMAL DEVELOPMENT OF STRETCH MARKS
  • BALANCED METABOLISM OF FAT
  • WOUND HEALING
  • BLOOD CLOTTING

The best plant based sources are greens like kale, the inner white part of oranges, and sesame seeds.

The normal ratio for nut ans seed milks is 1 cup to 3 cups of water. Of course you can make it thinner or creamier as you like by adding less or more water.

To make nut/seed milks you need a nut milk bag….well I haven’t found one in Italy for long time, but what I found works great as well is an old cotton t-shirt, a kitchen cloth, a pillow case. It really makes no difference in the outcome.

INGREDIENTS:
→ 1 cup black sesame seeds, soaked overnight
→ 3 cups water
→ pinch salt
→ 1 tbls sweetener of your choice (maple syrup, rice syrup, 1 date..)
→ a couple drops of vanilla extract

Drain sesame seeds and rinse well. Place in a blender with the water and blend well for 60 seconds on high. Using a nut milk bag (or cloth or old pillow case..) strain and squeeze well. Rinse the blender, add the milk with the remaining ingredients and blend again. Pour in bottle and refrigerate. Use up to 3 days.

Drink just as it is, add to smoothie, have with granola, make ice cream out of it… !!
